Based near Oklahoma’s capital, the Oklahoma Aggregate Association is the state's largest mining association and represents the construction aggregates industry.OKAA is the leading voice and advocate for the aggregates industry. Our members – stone, sand, gravel and gypsum producers and the equipment manufacturers and service providers who support them – are responsible for the essential raw materials found in every home, building, road, bridge and public works project and represent more than 90 percent of the crushed stone and 70 percent of the sand and gravel produced annually in Oklahoma.
Production of aggregates in Oklahoma in 2014 was more than 75 million metric tons with a raw value of over $700 million. In Oklahoma, the aggregates industry employs over 3,500 people and nationwide it employs approximately 100,000 highly-skilled men and women, and every $1 million of stone, sand and gravel sales supports 19.5 jobs.

MembersOKAA's member companies produce more that 90 percent of the crushed stone and 70 percent of the sand and gravel consumed annually in Oklahoma. Additionally, OKAA producers export between 15 to 25 million tons of aggregate materials annually for use in other states and countries. OKAA members are among the best-informed in the industry, receiving weekly industry updates and taking part in the association's active committees. OKAA provides educational opportunities, networking events, and publications to help the members of the aggregates industry excel.
